It's famous for the Rock of Gibraltar, wild Barbary macaques (Europe's only wild primates), St Michael's Cave, dolphin watching, and its unique blend of British, Spanish, Moroccan and Indian cultures. English is the official language; locals also speak Spanish and Llanito. The currency is the Gibraltar Pound (pegged to GBP). From 15 July 2026, the land border with Spain has no checks.
